The Noble Reminder for Today

And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], “uff,” and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word

Motivational Thought – Balance School Work and Play

It’s important to balance school, work, and play to stay healthy and happy. School helps you learn important things, but you also need time for fun. If you spend too much time only studying, you might feel tired or bored. But if you only play and don’t study, it could make school harder. So, try to do both each day! Finish your school work first, and then make sure you have some time to enjoy playing with your friends or doing hobbies.

Playing is just as important as studying. It helps your body stay strong and your mind feel relaxed. When you play outside or do fun activities, you feel happy and ready to focus again when it’s time to study. So, remember to make time for both school work and play every day. This will help you do well in school and still have lots of fun!

Character Tip – Being Argumentative Instead Of Yelling

It’s always better to calmly talk and explain how you feel instead of yelling during an argument. Yelling can make things worse and make others feel upset. But when you speak clearly and listen to the other person, you can solve problems together. It shows that you are being thoughtful and respectful, and it helps everyone understand each other better. So next time, if you feel like shouting, take a deep breath and try to talk things out instead

Riddle Of The Day – No Head

Riddle: What has a neck but no head? (Answer of this riddle is later within this article)

Technical Tip – Backup Your Important Files

It’s really important to keep a backup of your important files so you don’t lose them by accident. Sometimes, computers can stop working or you might delete something by mistake, but if you have a backup, your data is safe. You can store backups on an external hard drive or use cloud storage. Cloud services, like Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox, let you store your files online, so you can access them from anywhere and they won’t be lost even if something happens to your device.

What’s cool is that these apps can automatically back up your files, so you don’t even have to remember to do it yourself! Once you set up Google Drive or OneDrive, your files will be saved automatically in the background, which means your homework, photos, or favorite games will be protected. It’s like having a safety net for your digital stuff!

Health Tip – Cleaning Eyes With Fresh Water

Cleaning your eyes with fresh water is a simple and important way to keep them healthy. Throughout the day, dust, dirt, and even tiny particles can get into your eyes, making them feel irritated or itchy. Gently rinsing your eyes with clean, cool water helps wash away these particles and soothes your eyes. It’s especially useful if you’ve been outside in the wind or playing sports. Just splash a little water on your eyes, and blink a few times to help remove any dirt. Remember, keeping your eyes clean is just as important as washing your hands and face!

Fun Facts – Canada, Australia, Iceland, Japan & Brazil

  • Canada has more lakes than the rest of the world’s lakes combined – With over 2 million lakes, Canada holds about 60% of the world’s freshwater lakes!
  • Australia is home to more kangaroos than people – Australia’s kangaroo population is around 50 million, which far outnumbers its human population of about 26 million.
  • Iceland doesn’t have mosquitoes – Despite its cool climate and plenty of water, Iceland is one of the few places in the world where mosquitoes are completely absent.
  • Japan is made up of over 6,800 islands – While many know about the four main islands of Japan, the country actually consists of thousands of smaller islands.
  • Brazil is the only country to have hosted the Olympics on two continents – Brazil hosted the Summer Olympics in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro (South America) and also hosted the 1950 FIFA World Cup Final, which is often considered a major global event.

Short Story – Sam and Max

Once upon a time, two best friends, Sam and Max, were playing video games together. Sam was really into the game and giving directions like, “Go left! No, shoot the alien!” But Max, being more laid back, kept missing the target. Sam started getting frustrated and yelled, “Max, you’re messing it up!” Max, who wasn’t happy with the yelling, yelled back, “Well, stop bossing me around!” Soon, they were both shouting at each other, and the game wasn’t fun anymore.

After a while, Max paused the game and said, “Why are we yelling? Let’s just talk about it.” Sam realized Max was right and replied, “Okay, I’m sorry for yelling. I was just trying to help.” Max grinned, “And I’m sorry for not listening! Let’s just argue next time without all the shouting!” They both laughed and agreed that being calm and talking things through was way more fun than yelling. After that, they continued the game, but this time, they argued like proper friends—without any yelling and with plenty of laughter!

Idiom Of The Day – Break the Ice

  • Explanation: To initiate conversation in a social setting, especially among strangers.
  • Sentence: To break the ice at the party, John told a funny story about his first day at work.

Parenting Tip Of The Day

A great tip for effective parenting is to encourage open communication with your child. Make it a habit to actively listen to what they say, without judgment or interruption. This builds trust and helps children feel valued and understood. When children know they can share their thoughts and feelings openly, it strengthens your bond and helps them develop better communication skills. By fostering a positive, open dialogue, you also create a safe space for them to seek guidance or express concerns, helping them grow into confident and emotionally intelligent individuals
